Goodbye spicy foods, coffee & wine

Since I last wrote in this blog, the heartburn has gotten much worse.  It is now happening during the day and is there most of the time.  I started taking the OTC ranitidine twice a day as directed on the labeling instead of only as needed, thinking that it might help.  Nope, didn’t help at

New Tdap recommendation

I know when I was a kid I hated going to the doctor to get my vaccinations.  After growing older and going through pharmacy school, I now see the benefit in getting the vaccinations.  Getting vaccinations not only helps protect you from diseases but it helps protect others by preventing the spread of the disease.
